Position: Senior Director Operations Finance



Purpose of the Job

Lead for all Operations (Hearing Instruments; Audiological Care and Consumer Hearing Business) financial matters including but not limited to accounting, reporting, performance management, compliance, fund flow, tax and statutory requirements.
Act as one of the key right hand of the GVP of Operations (MB Member) in driving performance management and a continuous improvement agenda across the P&L, balance sheet, organizational structure, footprint and make vs. buy decisions.
Responsible for presenting and managing communications to/with key stakeholders across the Company Group including MB and up to the CEO/CFO.

Plays a key a role in the development of people and talent management across the Company finance function

This is a contractor role.


Tasks & Responsibilities


Manage the financial performance of the three key Group manufacturing sites in Switzerland, China and Vietnam as well as all Distribution and Repair Center across the Globe, including but not limited to the USA, UK, Netherlands and Spain centers.
Produce periodic reports to monitor the above and be able to analyze the data and provide regular assessments to the GVP of Operations in terms of (1) which should be the areas of focus to drive further improvements in performance and in terms of (2) risk and opportunities.
Overall responsibility for the financials of close to 4,000 FTEs in Operations and direct responsibility over a team of ca. 40 FTEs as well as ca- CHB 1.0 bn of spend.
Lead cross-functional projects and improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and agility across the value chain of the company Group, from purchase of raw materials to distribution of finished goods.
Play a key role in the shaping and execution of the Operations long-term strategy including footprint, make vs. buy, technology and capability aspects.
Drive a strong compliance agenda and lead efforts to ensure timely closure of open findings from internal audits and ensure fulfillment of all local statutory requirements.


Qualifications

Basic Education
Education in Economics, Finance or Business Administration (need to have)

Engineering background (nice to have)


Further Education: Training on Continuous Improvement (e.g. Gemba, A3PS, Kaizen) tools (need ot have)

Formal certification (nice to have)


Work Experience (need to have):

- At least 15 years of qualified professional experience in a manufacturing business
- International experience working in different cultural environments
- Work experience in change management in an international environment

Med tech industry exposure: (nice to have)

Social Competencies: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate convincingly to all levels of staff and management

Broad experience in interpretation and presentation of financial KPIs
