Experis is the global leader in professional resourcing and project-based workforce solutions.

On behalf of our client, a leading financial institution in Zürich, we are looking for a Legal Counsel whose experience includes international legal and regulatory matters related to institutional asset management.

This is a 12-month project and will be based in Zurich.

Main responsibilities

  • Providing day to day Asset Management related legal advice often within tight deadlines within Switzerland and Europe
  • Developing and reviewing a broad range of contracts, investment documentation as well as internal policies.
  • Conducting contract negotiation with clients and creating tailor made agreements.
  • Legal assessment of cases and recommendations to the management and business.
  • Providing and coordinating legal advice and support, including internal and external counsel where required

Your skills:

  • A Swiss or German degree in law and admittance to the bar
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of practical experience in international banking or in an international law firm, preferably with experience of asset management and investment funds related topics
  • Experience of advising or working with major financial institutions would be an asset
  • An interest in complex, international and regulatory topics
  • Able to work on global and regional projects
  • Fluent in German and English
