The perfect candidate:
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer who has the ability to work in a changing environment and can think in end to end business processes. The perfect candidate can speak German and English or at least one of those languages fluently and the other one intermediate level.

- Remote/Home Office: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Develop, construct, test, and maintain databases and large-scale data processing systems
- Implement data flow solutions to process new data sources and develop data infrastructure that enables actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics
- Work with stakeholders including the executive, product, data, and design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs
- Assist in optimizing data delivery and maintaining data quality
Must Haves:
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, Informatics, or Data Science
- Minimum of 3 years working experience as a Data Engineer
- Practical programming experience with SQL, Python, DBT (Database Build Tool)
- Proven experience with Snowflake
- Understanding of data privacy and governance standards
- Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes
- Experience with data pipeline and workflow management
- Experience in developing and optimizing data schema
- Fluency in German and English (min. C1)
Nice to Have:
- Experience with CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) and cloud environments
- Desire to work in an agile working environment
- Knowledge in unstructured data handling and analysis
- Familiarity with Data Modeling (Data Vault) and Data Architecture
- Data Visualization experience with tools like Tableau, PowerBI or Google Data Studio
- Understanding of Machine Learning models and algorithms
- Knowledge of statistical analysis languages, such as R
- Familiarity with distributed data/computing tools: Alteryx, Talend oder Qlik
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Certifications from recognized authorities in relevant fields (like AWS Certified Big Data, GCP Data Engineer certification)
- Experience with Git
