On behalf of our client, a leading financial institution in Zürich, we are looking for an experienced Business Analyst who is able join an existing project that is developing an in-house AML system with cutting edge technologies using Data Analytics.

Main responsibilities

• Understanding business procedures that exist in multiple global locations, to enable the new system to be tailored to the specific risks
• Improving the experience of end user tools by identifying where automation, analytics, or enhancements can have tangible beneficial output.
• Ensuring business processes and end user requirements are captured as part of ongoing system rollouts and enhancement
• Analyse new business requests and support the effort estimation of the team
• Conduct business process analytics and ad-hoc technical analytics
• Work within an agile scrum team to implement various features and projects in the application landscape, including some project management tasks such as capture epics and user stories in Jira
• Advise business stakeholders

Your skills:

• A minimum of 5 years in Business Analysis or Requirements Engineering in the financial industry
• In-depth knowledge of Banking, Finance, Financial products as well as an understanding of Swiss and European regulatory frameworks
• Good understanding of Software Development processes and rollout lifecycles.
• Hands-on experience with the ability to evaluate, capture and visualize dynamic workflows.
• UX/UI Concept Design skills - understanding what works in UI's and what does not.
• Fluent English language knowledge
• Basic knowledge of financial crime would be beneficial
• Previous experience with "big data" technologies is advantageous
• Understanding payment systems within a bank (such as SWIFT payment platforms)
