On behalf of our client, an international insurance company, we are looking for a Senior Business Analyst.

Location: Zurich

Start date: ASAP

Duration: 12 months - with possibility of extension/ internalization

Key Responsibilities

Requirement Gathering: Work closely with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements for Salesforce implementations tailored to the insurance industry.
Technical Translation: Translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications for Salesforce developers and technical teams.
User Story Development: Create detailed user stories with acceptance criteria, workflows, and process diagrams to guide the development and implementation of Salesforce solutions.
Process Mapping & Optimization: Analyze existing business processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement and recommending Salesforce-enabled solutions.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the primary liaison between business users, IT teams, and Salesforce developers, ensuring alignment of goals and expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

Testing & Validation: Develop and execute test plans to validate that Salesforce solutions meet business requirements and function as intended. Collaborate with stakeholders to address gaps and refine solutions.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of requirements, user stories, workflows, and technical specifications.
Change Management & Training: Assist in the development and delivery of training materials and sessions for end-users, ensuring smooth adoption of new Salesforce functionalities.
Risk Identification: Proactively identify potential risks or roadblocks in the implementation process and recommend mitigation strategies.
Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about Salesforce updates, trends, and best practices, recommending enhancements to optimize business processes and user experience.

Required Experience and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is a plus.
7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on Salesforce implementation projects.
Hands-on experience working in the insurance industry, with a deep understanding of its processes and requirements.
Proven ability to lead requirement-gathering sessions and translate business needs into actionable technical deliverables.
Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom applications.
Experience creating user stories, process flows, and technical documentation.
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
