On behalf of our client, an international insurance company, we are looking for a Senior Business Analyst.
Location: Zurich
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 12 months - with possibility of extension/ internalization
Key Responsibilities
- Requirement Gathering: Work closely with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements for Salesforce implementations tailored to the insurance industry.
- Technical Translation: Translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications for Salesforce developers and technical teams.
- User Story Development: Create detailed user stories with acceptance criteria, workflows, and process diagrams to guide the development and implementation of Salesforce solutions.
- Process Mapping & Optimization: Analyze existing business processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement and recommending Salesforce-enabled solutions.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the primary liaison between business users, IT teams, and Salesforce developers, ensuring alignment of goals and expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Testing & Validation: Develop and execute test plans to validate that Salesforce solutions meet business requirements and function as intended. Collaborate with stakeholders to address gaps and refine solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of requirements, user stories, workflows, and technical specifications.
- Change Management & Training: Assist in the development and delivery of training materials and sessions for end-users, ensuring smooth adoption of new Salesforce functionalities.
- Risk Identification: Proactively identify potential risks or roadblocks in the implementation process and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about Salesforce updates, trends, and best practices, recommending enhancements to optimize business processes and user experience.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is a plus.
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on Salesforce implementation projects.
- Hands-on experience working in the insurance industry, with a deep understanding of its processes and requirements.
- Proven ability to lead requirement-gathering sessions and translate business needs into actionable technical deliverables.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom applications.
- Experience creating user stories, process flows, and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
