For one of our clients, specialized in the pharmaceutical area with HQ in Basel, we are looking for an Application Engineer- MES with previous experience in a pharmaceutical company.
This is a challenging contracting position starting in July 2020 until the end of the year with extension possibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Execute activities to implement the Global MES system
- Analyze requirements and work together with the vendor, Global MES team, global/local IT teams and customer teams to specify appropriate technical solutions
- Support our customers in implementing their processes in the MES
- Analysis and solving of technical issues related to the MES system and/or interfaces
- Coordinate and align within the Global MES team and other IT teams involved as well as with the customers
- Deliver related project CSV documentation (CSV compliance, accurate content, on-time delivery)
- Act as an Incident and Release Manager for 6 productive sites
Must Haves:
- 8+ years' experience as Application Engineer)
- 8+ years hands on experience in MES systems
- Good understanding of Warehouse Management Processes
- Proven senior knowledge in Rockwell Automation Solution PMX and PS
- Good knowledge in serialization and Track & Trace processes
- Proven experience in CSV and GxP compliant working
- Analytical thinking, structured approach to resolution of issues
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in English
