The Hospitality Manager at the Basel HQ oversees all aspects of hospitality services to ensure they meet the highest standards. This includes welcoming and registering guests, providing concierge support, and managing the front desk team. They coordinate all activities related to the kitchen area, maintain cleanliness and functionality of shared spaces, and oversee office space management. Additionally, they supervise facility maintenance, administer access control, and implement Health & Safety measures in collaboration with HR. They also handle tenancy requirements and support negotiations with external parties and renovation projects.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure that hospitality services at the HQ are according to highest standards
  • Daily contact with guests and visitors at the HQ: welcome and register, accompany visitors from the entrance hall to the meeting room and F&B spaces
  • Provide concierge support to internal and external customers
  • Manage the front desk team and central services staff. Coordinate all people linked to the kitchen area (e.g., external catering, internal F&B resources, etc.)
  • Manage the kitchen area and other shared spaces in the building: ensure tidiness and cleanliness throughout the day, maintain the equipment and available products, prepare meeting rooms
  • Plan and manage office space, meeting rooms, in-house parking facilities and archives, including organization and execution of office moves
  • Supervise the facility maintenance requirements including maintenance of technical installations; maintain highest quality of the office equipment and infrastructure
  • Administer access control to premises
  • Define, implement and control Health & Safety measures and procedures in cooperation with the Human Resources Department
  • Administer tenancy requirements; support negotiations with external contracting parties and renovation projects



Your Profile

  • Previous work experience in a similar position: Front Desk Manager, Food and Beverage Manager at a 4 or 5 star hotel, Lounge Manager, or in a similar capacity for a large corporation
  • Knowledge in and passion for F&B
  • Customer service attitude
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills at all levels of seniority
  • Experience managing a team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under time pressure
  • Solid MS Office skills
  • Fluency in English and German
  • Quick thinker used to permanently changing requirements of C-level and VIP customers
  • Hospitality management diploma or similar education would be an asset
