Senior Reporting and Consolidation Manager

On behalf of our client, a Swiss leading telecommunications company, Expeis is looking for a Senior Reporting and Consolidation Manager. Here are the details:

Contract Duration: 3 months (trial and hire)

Workload: 100%

Start Date: ASAP

Extension: Possible

Location: Zurich

Responsibilities and Duties:
* Manage consolidation activities in SAP S/4HANA and quarterly IFRS reporting.
* Review monthly reporting packages in coordination with the Accounting Shared-Service Center.
* Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with the Swiss Code of Obligations (SCO) and reconcile IFRS to local GAAP.
* Support and manage the implementation of new accounting standards and reporting initiatives.
* Drive process improvements within the accounting and reporting function.
* Serve as the Finance single point of contact (SPOC) for various projects such as software replacements, new legal entity setups, new product offerings, and change requests.
* Collaborate with and manage both external and internal auditors.

Skills and Qualifications:
* Completed university or technical college degree focusing on accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.
* Swiss CPA certification.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in financial group accounting for a national/international group, auditing, or a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP reporting standards.
* Proficient in SAP, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP Group Reporting.
* Proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
* Structured and detail-oriented approach to work.
* Fluent in written and spoken English and German.
