Experis IT Switzerland is looking for a Firmware Engineer to join a dynamic team in Neuchalel.

The candidate has to be meticulous Engineer to support prototyping developments of RRP devices in the Aerosol Engine Research team of the RRP System Innovation group.

The position will mainly consist in in embedded firmware and software programming.

The candidate will bring knowledge in embedded FW programming, sensor integration and characterization, real-time signal processing, and handle demanding time constrains.

Neuchatel / 100% / 6 months contratc renewable

Your responsibilities:

• Develop all firmware module aspects (firmware code, algorithms, test cases, documentation) and provide technical expertise to meet functional requirements,
• Execute experimental work such as perform sampling, testing or verification, consolidate and review the generated data,
• Support device prototyping and test-bench implementation,
• Apply education/experience principles and practices for supporting development activities by proposing, implementing, or evaluating new sensors, algorithms or concepts.

Profile :

• University degree in Electronics Engineering (MSc or PhD level) or equivalent,
• Work experience: 3-5 years in electronic device FW development activities, preferably hand-held devices,
• Direct experience in FW and SW development, ideally in C and experience with HALs ,
• Experience in data transfer and serialization protocols such as USB, I2C, SPI, etc,
• Sensor integration and embedded signal processing ,
• Knowledge of MCUs (ideally STM32) internal operations and Hardware block (UART, RTC, ADC, DMA,…),
• Hands-on approach, open-minded, agile, dynamic, curious and eager to learn.
• Good communication skills,
• Fluent in English.
