Experis Switzerland is looking for an experienced Software Test Engineer. It is a contract position based in Zürich at a large international company with a focus on Virtual & Augmented Reality.

What you will do:

• As a key member of our team, your primary objective will be to support the transition from manual testing processes to automated testing procedures. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our testing efficiency, reliability, and overall software quality. Here's what you'll be doing:
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in automated testing and related domains.
• When you encounter issues, you won't just complain about them - you'll take ownership and work towards finding solutions.
• While you'll receive initial guidance, you're self-driven and can take initiative to research, learn, and apply new concepts independently.
• Anticipate challenges and opportunities for improvement in the testing process.
• Leverage your coding skills in JavaScript and Python to develop automated testing scripts, frameworks, and tools.

Your profile:

• A strong passion for technology and a drive to stay updated with the latest industry trends.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a positive attitude towards challenges.
• Ability to work autonomously while appreciating guidance and feedback.
• Proven experience in JavaScript and Python programming for test automation.
• Knowledge of C++ is a significant plus, enabling you to contribute to various aspects of our testing infrastructure.
• Familiarity with the Android and Linux ecosystems to ensure effective testing within these environments.
