Job Description: We are seeking a proactive and visionary Software Developer & Software Architect specialized in Java. The successful candidate will work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to formulate a comprehensive framework and roadmap for the full-stack engineering endeavors, particularly focusing on Java technologies. This role involves envisioning organizational setups, defining frameworks and guidelines, establishing engineering principles, delineating roles and responsibilities, and strategizing the implementation process to achieve the target image.

Main Tasks:

1. Lead and guide the creation of our software engineering vision for full-stack engineering (Java)
2. Collaborate with SMEs to develop a target framework and roadmap, outlining organizational setups, frameworks, engineering principles, roles, and responsibilities.
3. Support and collaborate on Proof of Concept (PoC) projects related to internal developer platforms, ensuring alignment with the established vision and strategy.
4. Conceive and collaborate on the implementation of ArgoCD, including defining quality gates and operationalizing processes in line with platform team objectives and software engineering vision.

Special Requirements:

• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and JavaREST at a high level.
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
• Familiarity with microservice architecture at a medium level.
• Strong understanding of security and quality assurance principles.
• Excellent communication skills in both German and English.

Department/Project Scope:

• Vision Software Engineering: Lead, guide, supervise, and consult on software engineering initiatives to articulate and communicate the vision. Facilitate collaboration among SMEs to consolidate ideas and concepts.
• IDP Platform - PoC: Collaborate on Proof of Concept projects for the Internal Developer Platform. Ensure alignment with the overarching vision while providing support and constructive feedback.
• Introduction of ArgoCD: Contribute to the conception, implementation, and communication of ArgoCD. Define quality gates and operationalize processes in collaboration with the platform team to support the software engineering vision.
