Data Solution Architect - Azure Cloud Migration
Our client, a globally renowned Information Technology organization, seeks a Data Solution Architect experienced in Azure Cloud Migrations.
The Senior Data Architect will be responsible for data architecture design as well as the technology evaluation and recommendations based on proper target Azure services stack to migrate/transit applications data as well as the data warehouse. As the member of the Architecture Workgroup (architects team) they should work together with the other architects and provide recommendations according to the architecture governance and guiding the engineers over the course of the data migration.
Qualifications:
- Experience working within regulated industries (ideally banking, with Swiss banking highly preferred)
- 4+ years of experience in data- and data technology migration into Azure cloud
- 8+ years of experience with requirements analysis and data- and/or solution architecture design
- 8+ years of experience with ETL, data ingestion/data integration, dimensional modelling, data warehouse design, and transformation pipelines
- 8+ years of experience conducting data profiling, cataloguing, and mapping for technical design and implementation of technical data flow
- 4+ years of experience architecting and delivering solutions using the Azure Data Analytics Service, Migration tools, Databases
- 4+ years of experience with MS Purview (former data catalogue)
- Experience implementing data architectures exposing data to end-users via Power BI or Azure API Apps
- Experience working in a DevOps environment
- Experience with Jira or Confluence collaboration tools
- Experience on Business Intelligence programs
