On behalf of our client, a leading company within the telecommunication industry, we are looking for a System Security Engineer with proven experience in ICT Security Services and network technologies.
Your Responsibilities:
- Design, plan, and implement platforms for their clients within the ICT Security Services
- Make sure hardware, software, and applications are available, and respond professionally and efficiently to interruptions
- For platform-relevant services, handle change requests, security patches, and lifecycle projects
- Support and define architectures for platform projects that are technically and economically feasible
- Configure and install software and hardware components, compile the necessary documentation, and distribute it
- Develop or support software solutions to integrate components currently in use
- You are responsible for installing, configuring, and supporting our Unix/Linux server on several complex and heterogeneous security platforms
Your Profile:
- Degree (UAS/technical college) in computer science, telecommunications, or several years of experience in the IT environment
- IT security, architecture, and network technologies; experience with load balancers, proxies, and other access control devices is a plus
- Unix/Linux, RedHat, highly competent with security services (PKI, HSM)
- Script programming (Bash, Perl, or Python)
- Maintaining and operating standard applications (e.g. Apache/Tomcat, MySQL, LDAP)
- Understanding of distribution, automation, and configuration management in larger environments (> 400 servers, 500 devices in the network)
- 3rd-level support
- English and German required
