On behalf of our client, a leading financial institution in Zürich, we are looking for a Business Analyst who has experience within Risk to work as part of the Data Provisioning operation. The role will work to enhance the data controls as well as compiling relevant documentation and processes to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
This is a 6-month project and will be based in Zurich.
Main responsibilities
- Close engagement with Data Provisioning and the Change function team to collect required information for compiling Data Controls and Process documentation
- Supporting the DP BAU team on specifying new Controls and setting them up in the existing system environment, while helping the team to address identified control gaps
- Working with the Global DP team to align on defined artefacts and applicable documentation standards
- Supporting the DP BAU team in providing root-cause analysis on data breaches
- Hands on involvement in analysis and answering of ad hoc queries
- Compiling Business Requirements documentation for IT system enhancements, and working with IT and CRO Change on solution design
Your skills:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience of credit or market risk disciplines from data controls and BAU process perspective with direct experience in credit risk or market risk system implementations
- Relevant business support and analysis experience within banking and financial services, as well as experience in designing operating models, processes and control functions
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; highly numerically competent
- Effective stakeholder management, experience in facing senior business stakeholders, and ability to engage with quantitative experts, as well as IT
- Hands-on experience with Database / SQL Queries / Database query tools
- Fluent English language skills
- BCBS 239 knowledge is desired, but not compulsory
