Experis IT is on the search for a Radio & Intercomm Technician to join one of their clients, a well-known manufacturing company based in Switzerland. Duration: 1 year - chance of contract extension

Location: Bern

Workload percentage: 100%

Key Responsibilities:

installing computer hardware and software such as applications on a computer system
Setting up, testing, and maintaining radios, equipment racks, intercom systems, and other equipment used in radio stations
Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wires and cables used in electronic equipment repair and installation
Testing Radio, intercom & communication system in Tactical army platform
Performing on site solution and problem finding on the systems
Troubleshoot issues with equipment and connections in tactical platforms and lab environments
Operating measuring equipment for radio, intercom & communication systems in tactical platforms & lab environment
Providing support to users and being the first point of contact for error reporting
Performing tests and evaluations of new software and hardware.

Your Skills:

Preferred associate's degree or a post-secondary certificate
Experienced with operation of measuring equipment etc.: VSWR meter, RF analyzer & Voltmeter
Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
Experience with operation and problem solving of Tactical Radio & intercom systems
Preferred Experience with operation of Tactical Radio & intercom in Military environment (tactical platforms)
