Overview of contract
On behalf of our client, one of the leading wealth management group, we are looking for an Incident Manager to support the IT Control centre.
This is an one year contract with possibility of extension and getting perm.
Main responsibilities
- Deal with major incidents
- Ensure rapid resolution with the required specialists
- Ensure that communication is appropriate to the communication via channels according to the situation
- Documenting the cases and initiating & tracking of the following problem management process
- Further development of the Incident & Problem management process
- Collaboration and management of projects within the development of a global IT Control Centre
- Optimise and document the critical paths, processes and EoD processing of the core applications and initiate improvements e.g. in tickethandling
- Initiate automation within application processing and monitor, and ensure implementation
Your skills:
- Practical know-how in the areas of operational monitoring, EoD processing and process documentation
- Experience in optimisation/automation of EoD processes for complex IT system landscapes in large companies such as banks or insurance companies
- Quick comprehension as well as independent, structured and reliable way of working
- Able to work under pressure, in a team and flexible personality with good communication skills and assertiveness
- Hands-on mentality, takes responsibility & lead in the subject areas
- Resilient, team player and flexible personality with good communication skills
- Degree in computer science or business informatics as well as several years professional experience in the IT environment in the banking or insurance environment
- Fluent in German and English
