Production Planning & Manufacturing Expert - S/4HANA

Overview of contract

On behalf of our client, a leading and international financial services institution located in Zurich, we are looking for a Production Planning & Manufacturing Expert - S/4HANA.

You will be responsible for the following tasks and you should bring the following skills with you:

Main responsibilities

• Collaborate with key stakeholders and business users to capture and understand the requirements for the P2P and D2S processes.
• Analyze and map business requirements to S/4HANA Production Planning & Manufacturing functions.
• Lead the design and solution development for the D2S solution to ensure alignment with overall project objectives and existing modules (Finance, Controlling, Sales and Logistics).
• Provide expert knowledge on S/4HANA D2S functions, including Production Planning, Manufacturing Execution and Quality Management.
• Work closely with the cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of the new processes into the existing system landscape.
• Ensure project schedules, budgets and quality standards are met.
• Proactively identify risks and issues related to the D2S implementation and propose remediation strategies.

Your skills:

• Extensive experience and expertise of D2S functionalities, including Production Planning, Manufacturing Execution, and Quality Management in an S/4HANA environment.
• Experience in global design and solution development for S/4HANA transformations, with a focus on production planning and manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex business challenges.
• Fluency in French and English (written and spoken) is mandatory.

It may be possible to travel to La Chaux de Fond/Grenchen for certain on-site activities.

Location: Zurich, hybrid (50 %)
Type of employment: temporary position (100%), 6-months contract
Start: 20th September 2023
