Overview of contract

On behalf of our client, a large bank in Switzerland, we are looking for a Product Owner Structured Products /Derivatives Governance.

Location: Zürich

Start date: 01.09.2024

End date: 31.12.2025

Main responsibilities

• Oversee the issuance flow of structured products and derivatives, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Ensure that all distributed products meet client suitability standards.
• Work closely with cross functional stakeholders to automate, implement and enforce governance frameworks.
• Provide training and support to internal teams on regulatory requirements and changes.
• Maintain policies and manuals related to the governance of structured products.
• Manage the product & services life cycle from conception through release (incl. testing). Take ownership of maintaining the Markets products & services catalogue.
• Work with an Agile development team to refine and prioritize features and stories, create confluence pages for documentation purposes. Participate in sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.

Your skills:

• Bachelor or Master university degree in Finance, Business Administration, or financial industry related field.
• At least 5 years work experiences in financial industry with knowledge in product governance / regulatory projects / trading / risk / product issuance flow of cross asset structured products and derivatives.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner in managing product backlogs, user stories, familiarity with agile methodologies. knowledge of product management tools such a Jira and confluence.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
• Strong analytical mindset with an attention to detail and ability to present complex information in a clear and structured manner.
• Excellent communication skills in English, German is a plus.
