Onsite Support Technician

Our client is looking for an Onsite Support Technician for 1 year in Malta.



Location: Marsa, Malta

Start: ASAP

Working Hours: Monday-Friday; standard working hours

Languages: Fluent spoken and written English


Responsibilities:

1. Onsite Support:

  • Provide onsite support for various end-user equipment including laptops, desktops, peripherals, printers, smartphones, tablets, and SIM-cards at Customer Location.
  • Utilize Customer's system or GEPARD (Hemmersbach Ticketing System) for all activities.
  • Perform Install, Move, Add/Change, De-install, and Remove/Dispose services as per the outlined procedures.
  • Ensure connectivity and operability of all equipment during installations and relocations.
  • Conduct data backup and complete data deletion according to valid data protection regulations when necessary.

2. Project Based Support:

  • Provide project field services as requested by Hemmersbach.
  • Submit written requirements for Project Services to Service Provider.
  • Service Provider to provide a written binding offer for Project Services within a reasonable time.
  • Upon approval, execute Project Services and reimburse Service Provider accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Experience in providing onsite technical support for end-user equipment.
  • Familiarity with installation, relocation, and disposal procedures for various hardware components.
  • Knowledge of data backup and deletion procedures in compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
