Overview of contract
On behalf of our client, a leading financial institution in Zürich, we are looking for Mongo DB Developer to join the Payments control team group with the aim to reduce payments risk and provide a framework for payments management and processing.
Main responsibilities
- Study the database needs of the applications and optimize capabilities
- Participate in schema design and query tuning for applications
- Maintain database performance and capacity planning
- Write documentation and collaborate with technical peers online
- Provide advice and support to development resources.
- Provide guidance in the creation and modification of standards and procedures.
- Support the standards, policies, and procedures of the customer team.
- Provide mentorship to team members
Your skills:
- 8+ years of Database developer and/or DBA experience specifically Mongo and Oracle DB
- Hands on experience in HA solutions; replication topologies, fast-failover setup, clustering setup.
- Experience rolling out changes such as indexes to a large-scale database without customer interruption
- Experience implementing backup and disaster recovery plans.
- Experience tuning MongoDB configuration, queries, and indices in large scale-high databases
