On behalf of our Client, we are looking for:

Mechanical Development Engineer (DE+ENG)

Location: Wil - hybrid

Workload: 80-100%

What you'll do:

• Drive design, implementation, and validation of product innovations and improvements
• Develop mechanical and thermodynamic calculations and simulations
• Create and evaluate development concepts based on technical requirements
• Use creative engineering techniques from ideation to detailed design
• Collaborate closely with process, automation, and control engineering teams
• Lead sub-projects within multidisciplinary, international development projects
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation in line with applicable standards and regulations

What you bring:

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics (Master's preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar development engineering role
• Proficiency with MS Office, Inventor, and common design/simulation tools (e.g., Ansys, MDesign, SimScale)
• Strong German and English communication skills
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style with strong execution skills

Desirable Additional Skills

• Knowledge of thermodynamics, particularly in roasting or similar applications
• Experience with hygienic design, food safety standards, and various manufacturing technologies
