Experis IT Switzerland is currently on the search for a Liaison & Portfolio review Specialist (Audit & Investigation) to join one of their clients, an NGO, based in Geneva.
Your responsibilities:
The Liaison & Portfolio review specialist acts as the Grant Management focal point for communications and issues raised, managing the day-to-day relationship with auditors and investigators as well as with the Heads of Audit and Investigation and the legal and policy advisors.
The Liaison & Portfolio review specialist facilitates communications and provides guidance and advice to Country Teams and other Grant Management teams on upcoming or ongoing audits & investigations and on addressing recommendations. This role is also the focal point in Grant Management on the recovery of misused funds and other related policies and processes, and advises/supports Country Teams and the Grant Management Directorate generally in these areas.
To deliver the required results, it's essential that you have:
- Advanced/post-graduate University degree in business administration, public administration, health, risk, international development or other relevant discipline
- Prior relevant experience as an auditor, or manager, in international development, finance, consulting, or other relevant sectors;
- Experience in risk management (or closely comparable experience);
- Experience of problem solving and relationship management;
- Familiarity with developing country contexts.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as an auditor, lawyer, or manager, in international development, finance, consulting, or other relevant sectors;
- Experience in investigation
- Excellent knowledge of English and French
