Legal Counsel

Experis IT Switzerland is currently on the search for an experienced Legal Counsel to join one of their clients, a global company. For this temporary assignment based in Zurich, we are in search of an English speaking candidate who is available in a short notice.

Key responsibilities:

• Day to day legal counselling, drafting and negotiation of distribution, logistic service agreements, IT-agreements and procurement related contracts
• Provide advice to Global Logistics and Distribution as well as Direct and Indirect Procurement (mainly IT)
• Manage the implementation of regional logistic and warehouse strategies
• Negotiate, draft and revise any type of contract including CDA's, (master) services agreements, manufacturing agreements, software license agreements, warehousing agreements or logistic agreements in compliance with applicable regulations
• Work in collaboration with the colleagues from the business functions and the Legal Department
• On demand, coordinate and oversee relationships with external law firms
• Represent the Legal function in meetings with the stakeholders
• Up to 20% travel (all costs covered)

Your profile:

• Fully qualified Common Law/Swiss or German Law lawyer
• Strong knowledge in contract law, IT and commercial law
• Knowledge in pharmaceutical law/logistic rules would be a plus
• At least 5+ years practicing law at a major law firm and/or life science company
• Communication and team worker skills
• Ability to work in stressful environment
• Strong communication skills and leadership qualities

• English and German as fluent working languages (speaking, negotiating and drafting)

Location: Zürich

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 1 year with further possibility of extension
