IT Finance Analyst - 6 months contract

Experis IT Switzerland is currently looking to recruit for the position of IT Finance Analyst for a project based in Zürich.

Project details: You would participate in the implementation of financial systems globally in order to optimize financial processes. You would work closely with Global team, and the site finance teams of each site.

Key accountabilities

• Partners with leadership to provide financial analysis and reporting in support of strategy, planning and operations processes.
• Provides financial analysis, modelling and cost management support for operational and strategic objectives.

• Manage monthly financial close and variance analysis, managing variance reports and tracking and reporting progress on cost optimisation opportunities and risks.

Your profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent or in lieu of a degree
• +5 years of business experience, preferably in IT
• Strong experience in budgeting, planning and variance analysis experience.
• Strong business acumen and broad problem-solving skills,
• Basic accounting understanding of financial and management accounting principles and practices
• Management: work with manager to set priorities and meet specific deadlines in a changing environment, ability to be flexible, accommodating, and to deal with change effectively.
• Teamwork: ability to work effectively in and contribute to a team environment. Strong interpersonal/influential skills, able to build consensus amongst stakeholder groups and find practical solutions to complex issues.
• Entrepreneurial: ability and desire to take ownership over activities and projects, desire to shape the organization.
• Knowledge of IT cost management frameworks and tools is nice-to-have
• Excellent project management skills and ability to keep multiple priorities moving at the same time.

Duration: 6 months contract with high possibility of extension
