Our customer is a fnancial company, is looking for a System Engineer to join their team in the Geneva Office.

The ideal candidate have a good understanding of security protocols and email encryption , with a strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Mission

• Design, plan, and implement Windows-based server infrastructure to meet the organization's needs, including servers, networks, and storage solutions.
• Configure, manage, and maintain Windows Server operating systems and related services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Ensure the security of Windows servers by implementing and monitoring security best practices, including patch management, firewall configurations, and access controls.
• Provide technical support and resolve issues related to Windows servers,
• Manage virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V or VMware to optimize server resources and improve scalability.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement performance enhancements to ensure optimal system operation.
• Develop and maintain scripts or automation tools to streamline system administration tasks and improve efficiency.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

Profil

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is typically required.
• Several years of experience in Windows system administration and engineering roles, with a strong background in managing Windows Server environments,
• Strong knowledge in Windows Server operating systems, PowerShell scripting, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other related technologies,
• Certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or Microsoft Certified: Windows Server certifications, are preferred.
• Excellent analytical problem solving
• Good communication and interpersonnal skills,
• Fluent in english and french.
