Experis IT Switzerland is currently on the search for an Indirect Category Management Specialist to join one of their clients, an NGO, based in Geneva.
Your responsibilities will be:
To formulate and implement innovative and compehensive category strategies and deliver cost effective and efficient processes for the indirect & non-health spend of the Client.
To be accountable for overall performance of the specific categories that are allocated and ensure alignment and adoption, where appropriate, with both internal processes/systems and the e-marketplace. Create the best possible value across the categories
To deliver the required results, it's essential that you have:
Full or part qualified membership of Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) or equivalent. Degree in business or similar
Category management experience (typically 5/7 years min) on indirect materials, in a category management structure, and strategic sourcing, working within a matrix organisation.
Private sector experience beneficial.
Clear understanding of strategic procurement and category management methodologies and associated toolkits.
Capable of leading commercial discussions and developing sound commercial solutions for their respective categories that deliver significant value to the Client.
- Written and Spoken fluency in English is required, good working knowledge in one of the following Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish or Portuguese is an asset
