On behalf of our client, one of the largest banks in Switzerland, we are looking for a IBM Mainframe Application Developer.
Location: Zürich
Start date: ASAP
End date: 31.08.2024
Main responsibilities
- Engage in maintenance, support, and project tasks related to IBM Mainframe applications in the Core Banking sector.
- Utilize your proficiency in COBOL programming to enhance, optimize, and troubleshoot applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address software-related issues.
- Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of coding practices and development methodologies.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure effective communication.
Your skills:
- Strong expertise in COBOL programming.
- Proven experience working with IBM Mainframe applications in the Core Banking domain.
- Familiarity with maintenance, support, and enhancement of Core Banking applications.
- Solid analytical skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English
