Fund Accountant (6-month Contract)

Overview of the position:
For our client, a large bank in Zurich, we are looking for a Fund Accountant to join a fun and vibrant team.

This is a contract from January until June 2024.

Main responsibilities:

• verification of the net asset value calculations and review of balance sheet and profit and loss statements
• reviewing fee calculations and analytics
• maintaining and monitoring data in the portfolio management system, updating and reconciling cash ledgers, booking and tracking of client flows
• preparation and verification of client reports and presentations
• tax and regulatory reporting
• revenue and Assets under Management reporting
• monitoring and calculating FX exposures

Your expertise:

• bachelors degree or equivalent in accounting or finance
• 4-5 years' experience in a similar function within a bank or financial institution, experience in fund accounting is a must
• relevant work experience within alternative asset classes
• a good head for figures and paying careful attention to details
• a high sense of responsibility, being self-managed, motivated and proactive
• solid Excel skills, experience with automation concepts a plus (Python, Alteryx)
• Fluent in English, other languages a plus
