Experis IT Switzerland is currently on the search for a Specialist, Financial & Fiduciary Risk Management to join one of their clients, an NGO, based in Geneva.

Your responsibilities will be:

To join a team of experienced professionals with a good knowledge of risk management and assurance working together across departments to improve assessment, mitigation, escalation, and reporting of operational risks faced by the Client and the implementers it provides funding to.

To deliver the required results, it's essential that you have:

• Advanced Degree in Finance (Masters in Finance or MBA Finance) or Accounting, Audit or Risk Management qualification (professional qualification such as a Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor Certified Risk Management and Assurance, Fédération des Experts-Comptables Européens). discipline.
• Demonstrated extensive experience in audit, financial risk management, financial management, obtained within an international audit/accounting firm, bilateral or multilateral aid agency, government department, industry, or a commercial or investment bank
• Over 5-8 years of professional experience including minimum 3-5 years of hands-on program, grant and risk management experience, of which part should be related to operational risks affecting country operations
• Demonstrated professional experience in a fiduciary risk management related function (including financial fraud and due-diligence) with strong internal control and management donor-funded programs
• An excellent knowledge of English and preferably a good working knowledge of French. Knowledge of other languages would be an asset
