Role Overview

For our Zurich office, we are seeking an enthusiastic Entry-Level ICT Systems Administrator with a focus on application management. This role is designed for individuals ready to dive into the dynamic field of ICT, supporting and evolving our application landscapes while ensuring optimal system performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Management: Oversee, maintain, and enhance our suite of application environments.
• System & Network Support: Assist with the deployment and continuous improvement of system, network, and security infrastructures.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to application performance.
• Security Development: Draft and enforce security policies, establish hardening guidelines, and create operational checklists.
• Collaborative Consulting: Work alongside application consultants for expert advice and technical support.
• Process Optimization: Streamline and automate routine operational procedures.
• Documentation: Develop and update technical instructions, guidelines, and documentation.

Candidate Requirements

• Educational Background: Completed apprenticeship in computer science with a specialization in platform development, or equivalent professional experience.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Server environments, Active Directory, PowerShell, Citrix NetScaler, firewall configurations, vulnerability management, and monitoring tools.
• Security Focus: A strong commitment to ICT security best practices.
• Team Orientation: A collaborative team player with a keen customer focus, who is also capable of working independently with a solution-driven, reliable, and detail-oriented approach.
