On behalf of our Client, we are looking for:

Electrical Development Engineer (DE+ENG)

Location: Wil - hybrid

Workload: 80-100%

What you'll do:

• Design and develop electrical circuit diagrams and parts lists for machinery controls using Engineering Base, in compliance with applicable electronic standards.
• Develop safety concepts aligned with required regulations and participate in safety analyses.
• Select electrical components with a strong focus on technical fit and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as automation, mechanical design, and electrical assembly.
• Prepare and maintain conformity documentation in accordance with CE and UL standards.
• Take ownership of technical documentation and ensure accuracy and completeness.

What you bring:

• Completed technical education in electrical or automation engineering, or a comparable degree.
• Proven professional experience in hardware design and planning within industrial or machine automation.
• Proficient in both German and English.
• Experience with Siemens Simatic S7 and Rockwell CompactLogix PLCs.
• Skilled in using "Engineering Base" software and familiar with control system construction for industrial machinery.
• Independent, self-driven work style and a passion for collaborative, international teamwork.
