DevOps Engineer (Python)

Experis Switzerland is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with Python. Our client is a well-known consultancy. It is a temporary assignment based in Zurich including remote, with a potential extension.

• Duration: 6 months
• Workload: 50% - 100%

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Thorough knowledge of Python, Docker and Linux is essential
• You are an expert in code deployment tools (Ansible or SaltStack).
• Proficient understanding and working experience with Microsoft Azure (preferred) or other cloud providers
• Proficient understanding of Git and DevOps standards and Agile principles
• You have 5+ years' experience as a DevOps Engineer
• Excellent troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities:

• Implement automation (CI/CD processes) using AzureDevOps
• Responsible for the infrastructure provisioning, configuration, build and application deployment for a set of Docker/Python applications on Linux
• Operational support including application monitoring and troubleshooting
• Conduct systems tests for security, performance, and availability
• Work collaboratively with the IT Operations team
• Work collaboratively in architecting/developing solutions with the development team
• Working and supporting the team of very skilled numerical programmers
