We are seeking a Deskside Support Technician to provide technical support to end-users at our company. The ideal candidate should have excellent problem-solving and communication skills, as well as experience in desktop support, troubleshooting, and hardware/software installations.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues & Provide technical support to end-users in person, via phone, or email.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Manage and track inventory of hardware and software assets.
- Ensure security and compliance with company policies and standards.
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of audio-visual equipment for meetings and events.
- Communicate effectively with end-users, colleagues, and management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in desktop support or related technical field.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Familiarity with Active Directory and other enterprise IT management tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
