Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Cloud Solutions Architect to join our clients' dynamic team. As an Azure expert, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex cloud solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Azure Expertise:
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including but not limited to:
- Azure AD, IAM / RBAC
- Azure Private DNS Zones
- Azure global structure (Management Groups, Subscriptions, Resource Groups)
- Virtual machines (images, updates, backups, scale sets)
- Networking (Virtual WAN, Virtual Network, NSGs, private endpoints/links)
- Storage (blobs, files, disks)
- Databases
- Monitoring (Log Analytics workspaces, Azure Monitor, Workbooks)
- SIEM (Azure Sentinel)
- Azure policies
- On-premises vs. Azure interoperability (VPN/ExpressRoute and Forwarding/Private DNS)
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including but not limited to:
Azure Services Mastery:
- Exhibit proficiency in a wide range of Azure services, including, but not limited to:
- Application Gateway
- Azure Sentinel
- Azure Service Bus
- Azure Logic Apps
- Azure Synapse
- Possess an in-depth understanding of these services' capabilities, configurations, and integration possibilities to design efficient and effective solutions.
- Exhibit proficiency in a wide range of Azure services, including, but not limited to:
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
- Showcase proficiency in creating and managing infrastructure using tools such as Bicep, ARM templates, Ansible, Terraform, or similar technologies.
Security Practices:
- Be familiar with Azure security features, identity and access management, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
- Utilize Azure monitoring and diagnostic tools to identify and resolve performance issues and outages.
Scripting and Automation:
- Demonstrate proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash to automate repetitive tasks and streamline operational processes.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Foster excellent team spirit within the organization.
Problem Solving:
- Apply an analytical mindset to assess complex technical challenges.
- Devise innovative solutions and implement effective troubleshooting strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Microsoft Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert are highly desirable.
- Proven experience in architecting, designing, and implementing Azure-based solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills - fluent in both French & English
