2nd level Application Supporter

Experis IT Switzerland is currently on the search for an experienced 2nd level application supporter to join one of their clients, a well-known company. For this temporary assignment based in Zurich canton, we are in search of an English-speaking candidate who is available in a short notice.

Major responsibilities:

  • 2 level help desk support of web applications
  • Define and maintain the monitoring of applications
  • 24/7 on-call support on a weekly rotation

Your profile:

  • Education in Computer Science or as IT Technician
  • Minimum 2 years experience in similar position
  • Technical practical knowledge required in:
    • IT Service Management Framework ITILv3
    • Linux knowledge (RHEL 6 +),
    • Basic SQL knowledge
    • Strong knowledge in Web Technologies: Apache, HAProxy, SSL, Weblogic
    • Experience with monitoring, for example: Dynatrace, Monitis, Icinga
  • Languages required: fluent English; German is a strong advantage

Location: Zurich Canton

Contract duration: until end of 2019 with further possibility of further extension
