What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in a software related field such as software or electrical engineering or similar
• Recent 4-5 years experience with Kafka/Apache
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as Software Engineer
• Strong with Dockers and Kubernetes
• Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus
• Highly motivated with focus on deadlines and a proactive and thorough way of working
• Ability to work within a team and still be proactive
• Ability to work within agile and Scrum Teams

Nice to have Skills:

• Kafka and surrounding ecosystem (Kafka Connect, Confluent Schema Registry, ...)
• Relational databases: Mandatory: DB design or SQL otherwise experience with PostgreSQL, experience with OLAP/HTAP use cases.
• Streaming data processing: Ideally Apache Flink, otherwise Kafka Streams/Apache Beam/Spark streaming/
• Maven/Jenkins/ Shell-Bash/ Linux/ Python 3
