What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in a software related field such as software or electrical engineering or similar
- Recent 4-5 years experience with Kafka/Apache
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as Software Engineer
- Strong with Dockers and Kubernetes
- Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus
- Highly motivated with focus on deadlines and a proactive and thorough way of working
- Ability to work within a team and still be proactive
- Ability to work within agile and Scrum Teams
Nice to have Skills:
- Kafka and surrounding ecosystem (Kafka Connect, Confluent Schema Registry, ...)
- Relational databases: Mandatory: DB design or SQL otherwise experience with PostgreSQL, experience with OLAP/HTAP use cases.
- Streaming data processing: Ideally Apache Flink, otherwise Kafka Streams/Apache Beam/Spark streaming/
- Maven/Jenkins/ Shell-Bash/ Linux/ Python 3
