On behalf of our client, a leading financial institution in Zürich, we are looking for a German speaking Investment Controller.
Overview of the project:
- The position is within the Investment Guideline Monitoring team which monitors adherence to the contractual and regulatory guidelines covering mandates and funds managed in Asset Management.
Responsibilities:
- Join us as Investment Guideline Controller within the Investment Guideline Monitoring team in the Asset Management division located in Zurich.
- Daily monitoring of adherence to investment guidelines of discretionary mandates as well as Swiss, Luxembourgish and Irish funds using our investment management platform (BlackRock Aladdin, Bloomberg AIM).
Skills:
- 4-7 years of experience in financial industry, in portfolio management, compliance, risk, internal audit
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in Investment Guideline Monitoring, investment compliance
- Understanding of financial instruments including derivatives
- Evidence of understanding of the regulatory environment such as the Investment regulations for pension funds and collective investment schemes (Switzerland, Luxembourg, Ireland)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Experience in working in an international work environment
- Exposure to investment management platform Aladdin is a plus
- Diligent work approach
- Fluency in German and English is a must
