Financial Systems & Data Management Manager

Experis IT Switzerland is on the search for an experienced Financial Systems & Data Management Manager to join a well-known company based in Zurich. This exciting long-term contracting opportunity is only open to candidates with relevant experience, who are available to start in May 2020.



Major Responsibilities:

  • Support monthly financial planning and reporting processes with state-of-the-art financial systems
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for all financial systems maintenance, development and master data changes
  • Ensure all data maintenance for updates, in particular in view of organizational and accounting changes
  • Drive financial systems projects to successful conclusion : Program/project planning, project progress & issue reporting - with specific ownership for driving issue resolution, risk management and project financials & benefits tracking - including new project proposal identification, evaluation and proposal to proceed
  • Lead the implementation of Global Management Information systems within business unit, in close collaboration with Corporate Finance system team, and business unit controllers
  • Create and execute change plans, training plans and change implementation issue resolution to deliver the change and embedding new capabilities and processes (ways of working) into the operations

Your Profile:

  • BA/MA in Finance or Business administration or similar, with extensive and broad Finance and related systems experience
  • Highly analytical skills with the ability to stand back and understand the 'big picture' and translate this into action orientated results
  • Significant project management experience
  • Project Management Professional Qualification (either PMP or Prince)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to both liaise with and challenge senior managers within the organization, and be able to work independently in pressure situations
  • Strong knowledge in:
    • Finance system implementation
    • Knowledge of financial accounting and reporting systems
    • Knowledge and experience in cost accounting and cost management
  • Excellent communication in English
  • Attention to details
  • Proven track record of delivering results to a deadline

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 1-year contract
