Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Support:
    • Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network issues.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related problems in a timely manner.
    • Assist users in understanding and utilizing technology tools.
    • Support implementation and maintenance of ITIL-based ITSM processes, such as incident management, change management, problem management, and service request management.
  • Network Administration:
    • First level support for the organization's network infrastructure.
    • Monitor network performance, identify issues, and escalate to external vendors for solutions
    • Collaborate with IT vendors for network-related services and support.
  • User Account Management:
    • Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts.
    • Ensure security protocols are followed for user access and permissions.
    • Educate users on security best practices.
  • Hardware and Software Procurement:
    • Collaborate with vendors to source and procure IT equipment.
    • Manage inventory of hardware and software assets.
    • Ensure compliance with licensing agreements.
  • IT Project Coordination:
    • Assist in planning, implementing, and managing IT projects.
    • Coordinate with different teams to ensure project goals are met.
    • Monitor project timelines and budgets.
  • Training and Documentation:
    • Develop and deliver training sessions for end-users on new technologies.
    • Create and maintain documentation for IT processes and procedures.
    • Keep technical documentation up-to-date with support of solution owners

Your Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in IT support or system administration.
  • Familiarity with various operating systems, hardware, and software applications.
  • Experience with IT service management best practices (ITIL)
  • Proficiency in network administration, system administration, and IT troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of security best practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms may be required.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with end-users and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve IT issues efficiently.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • German C1 is a must, French is a plus
