Introduction
We're looking for a dedicated and experienced DevOps Engineer (80-100%) to support the digital transformation of a leading organization in the financial and insurance sector. In this role, you'll work at the interface between IT operations and core banking systems, helping to ensure high system reliability and drive forward automation and innovation.
You decide where you work best - from one of several office locations in Chur, Zurich (The Circle), St. Gallen, Bern or remotely. Flexible full-time and part-time working models are available.
Your Responsibilities
- Act as the technical lead for core banking applications and associated systems and interfaces.
- Troubleshoot complex incidents and performance issues from an end-to-end perspective.
- Assist with installations of new environments and software patching.
- Develop and automate operational processes using Shell, Automic, Ansible, Git, and CI/CD tools.
- Implement effective service monitoring through custom scripting and best practices.
- Collaborate with both internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver seamless solutions.
Your Profile
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience in a DevOps role.
- Strong skills in SQL, scripting, and automation tools.
- A proactive and structured approach with strong communication and analytical thinking skills.
- Experience with core banking systems (e.g., Finnova) and their operational frameworks is a plus.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk is advantageous.
- Fluent German (spoken and written) is required.
