Overview of contract
On behalf of our client, a large bank in Switzerland, we are looking for a Tableau Developer.

Location: Zurich
Start date: 01.08.2025
End date: 28.02.2025 - with possibility of extension

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the full lifecycle of Tableau dashboard development, from data modeling and UX design to implementation and performance tuning.
• Translate high-level business needs into powerful visual analytics.
• Build scalable dashboards with complex calculations, LOD expressions, parameter actions, and dashboard interactivity.
• Optimize large data models for fast, intuitive user experience.
• Apply a strong design sense to deliver clean, usable, and engaging interfaces.
• Act as a sparring partner, suggesting better ways to visualize or structure insights.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Proven experience building large-scale Tableau dashboards used by 100+ users in a corporate or enterprise environment.
• Mastery of Tableau: LODs, context filters, parameter actions, performance optimization, Row Level Security, etc..
• Strong grasp of data modeling principles and best practices in BI.
• Ability to work independently and structure own tasks based on high-level direction.
• Proactive problem-solver with a bias toward clean, scalable solutions.
• Fluent English.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Portfolio of previous dashboards to demonstrate design thinking.
• UI/UX sensitivity and ability to produce polished visual products.
• Experience with Dataiku or other ETL tools.
• Familiarity with Tableau Server best practices.
