Overview of contract

On behalf of our client, a leading financial services institution in Zürich, we are looking for an experienced software engineer

This is a 12-month contract based in Zurich

Main responsibilities

• Development, operation, and maintenance of applications including lifecycle management (HW/SW)
• Provision and execution of the deployment process with Jenkins, Nexus and and Octopus in different environments (DEV, SIT, UAT, PROD)
• Further development and maintenance of the deployment process and Version management using Bitbucket, Git.
• Definition of job control, EndOfDay- Processing
• Performance optimizations (Analysis/Tuning)
• Error analysis Linux-side (Java- stacktrace, scripts, OS tools)

Your skills:

• Strong experience programming with Java and Python
• Knowledge of data corrections via SQL, complex DB queries, data migrations
• Experience with performance optimizations (Analysis/Tuning)
• Error analysis Linux-side (Java- stacktrace, scripts, OS tools)
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in German and English
