Overview of contract


On behalf of our client, a bank in Zürich, we are looking for a Senior Scrum Master IT Transformation.


Location: Zürich, Altstetten
Start date: ASAP
End date: 12 months contract with possibility of extension


Main responsibilities


* Act as a change agent by reflecting on the team and processes and driving continuous improvement ideas.
* Collaborate with the Product Owner (PO) and Release Train Engineer (RTE) who have strong agile experience to bring up ideas, friendly challenge each other, and develop the team and product further.
* Utilize deep knowledge and experience of agile delivery methodologies and frameworks for training and workshop management.
* Demonstrate expertise as a Scrum Master by applying Scrum principles and practices.
* Exhibit leadership, facilitation, moderation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continuous improvement, empowerment, and increased transparency.
* Possess excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and coaching skills.
* Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, Miro, or other common state-of-the-art agile collaboration tools.
* Demonstrate self-driven, independent working abilities, a team-player mentality, a hands-on approach, and comfort in driving and managing change.
* Willingly support the team in all aspects of delivery.
* Strong skills in stakeholder management and communication in English (strongly preferred) and written German.
* Due to the nature of the specific product/team, a technical background (e.g., software engineering) and a general understanding of CI/CD (Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery) concepts are required. Deeper expertise in these topics (ideally GitLab) is a significant plus. Previous experience in similar topics, e.g., in a System Team, is also advantageous.
