As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our core banking system and other in-house developed applications. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining a comprehensive suite of automated test cases, contributing actively and independently to our Client's quality assurance efforts.
Your Responsibilities:
- Write automated test scripts based on detailed specifications
- Continuously expand the automation coverage
- Ensure automated test cases run without failures
- Execute test cases and conduct detailed analysis and validation
- Enhance the automation framework
- Support the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of CI/CD pipelines
What do you bring:
- Higher education in IT (university / FH) or equivalent relevant experience
- 5 years of practical experience in Test Automation
- Strong understanding of programming languages fundamentals
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL
- Knowledge of System Architectures, APIs, and Avaloq is an advantage
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, distributed systems, and microservice architectures is beneficial
- Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with users at all levels of the business
- Fluency in English is required; fluency in Portuguese and/or German is a plus
