For one of our clients, a Swiss Tech-giant, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager specialized in the Telco Industry, ready to rock!
Location: Basel (Hybrid)
Contract: 12+ months, open to permanent
Salary: Negotiable
Workload: 80-100%
Responsibilities
- Analysis and allocation of files/projects
- Animation, planning management, support for complex cases / escalations
- Monitoring the quality of work, conducting audits
- Checking compliance with procedures, budgets per connection and finding solutions to complex connection files
- Manage site and subcontractor supply
- Weekly meeting to organise/validate work plans
- Assisted in the proper delivery of the Services and our customers
- Point of contact if a technical incident in the network needs to be resolved, help in managing the external forces that may be required in this case
- Assistance in negotiating services required from subcontractors/partners, including revisions of BPUs
- Generate performance reports for each region
- Be able to identify common problems and contribute to the implementation of improvements
Requirements
- Technical and administrative knowledge of the world of telecommunications and fiber optics.
- Education as a project manager and team leader and/or five years' experience in a similar function.
- Perfect command of the German language (spoken and written), very good knowledge of French and ideally English.
- Good command of IT tools (GIS, Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Mastery of fiber optic technology and carrier engineering rules
- Commitment and motivation to meet deadlines and budget
- Control of quality and cost aspects
- Compliance with procedures
