On behalf of our client, one of the largest banks in Switzerland, we are looking for a Product Owner - Trading Position Management.

Location: Zürich

Start date: 01.09.2023 - flexible

End date: 31.08.2024

Main responsibilities

• Take ownership of trading, sales position, and risk management capabilities and systems as a SAFe Agile Product Owner.
• Collaborate with management (Business Owners, Desk Heads, Product Management, IT Architects, CoE Heads) to enhance processes, align system enhancements, and define roadmaps.
• Work closely with the Scrum Master, IT developers, Application Responsibles, and System Experts in an experienced position and risk management agile team.
• Analyze business workflows and craft our client's business stories. Refine stories collaboratively and prioritize work based on agreed roadmaps and committed features.
• Ensure platform availability and component lifecycle, coordinating with support functions and the agile team.
• Lead efforts to enhance the current setup and implement new setup components in alignment with relevant stakeholders.
• Act as an accountable expert in projects related to position and risk management capabilities, regulatory topics, processes, and systems.

Your skills:

• Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, IT, or related field.
• Demonstrate at least 10 years of experience in the financial industry, with expertise in cross asset structured products, derivatives, trading, risk, and product issuance flow.
• Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders from both business and IT.
• Display in-depth knowledge as a user, product owner/manager, or application engineer for trading position and risk management systems.
• Familiarity with system functionalities, configuration, and workflows is essential.
• Programming skills and experience with Front Arena are advantageous.
• Maintain a solution-oriented and analytical mindset with a strong attention to detail. Manage multiple priorities and dependencies in a fast-paced environment.
• SAFe PM/PO/SM certification or other relevant agile and project management certifications are a plus
• Excellent communication skills in both German and English
