Overview: As the Partner Development Manager for Business Applications, you will be responsible for fostering strategic partnerships with the partner's key partners, driving growth, and aligning partner strategies with the cleint's goals and objectives. This role requires a blend of strategic planning, sales acceleration, performance management, executive relationship building, capacity building, and advocacy skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Partner Development and Growth:
    • Develop and execute strategic and tactical partner business plans aligned with partner's objectives.
    • Promote cloud consumption and digital transformation, considering short- and long-term goals and performance expectations.
  2. Partner Sales and Acceleration:
    • Develop go-to-market plans and co-sell execution tactics.
    • Lead partner pipeline reviews and coach partners to enhance sales and consumption strategies.
    • Facilitate collaboration between partner and Microsoft sales teams to meet revenue targets.
  3. Partner Performance and Impact:
    • Monitor partners' overall performance and resolve execution blockers.
    • Drive adoption and usage of key programs and investments.
    • Create correction of error plans when execution falls below expectations.
  4. Executive Relationship Building:
    • Establish trusted advisor relationships with C-suite leaders of complex partners.
    • Align partners' priorities, strategies, and goals with Microsoft's to achieve mutual growth.
  5. Partner Skills and Capacity Building:
    • Lead integration of skills, capability, and capacity plans for partners.
    • Provide sales and technical trainings to enhance partners' capabilities.
  6. Advocate for Partner and Team Mobilizer:
    • Represent partners internally and lead response to complex escalations.
    • Advocate for partners' solutions and guide prioritization of partner issues.
    • Orchestrate across various groups in Microsoft and partner organizations to accelerate performance.


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven experience in partner development, sales acceleration, and performance management.
  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies and digital transformation trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships at executive levels.
  • Experience in the technology industry and knowledge of Microsoft products and services is a plus.
