Experis IT Switzerland is on the search for an experienced Packaging Design Engineer to join one of our well-known global clients. This exciting long-term contracting opportunity is only open to candidates with relevant experience, who are available to start in a short notice in July 2019.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Mechanical/Software Engineering/Packaging Science
• +7 years packaging related experience ideally within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or health care industry
• Strong understanding of cGMP environment
• Working knowledge of packaging related standards and regulations for ASTM, CPSC, EFPIA, EMA, FDA, GS1, ICH, ISO, ISPE, ISTA, PDA, USP, and WHO
• Lean and/or Six Sigma training is preferred
• Good knowledge of HW Product Dev Process Standard, packaging related standards and regulations
• Hands on experience in Artwork review & development, Packaging TD review and approval
• Experience with packaging materials such as rigid and flexible plastics, glass, films and foils, pressure sensitive labels, tamper seals, tape, and bags, paperboard, paper and plastic corrugate, foam, etc.
• Serialization, Brand protection, packaging material qualification and testing knowledge, Medical Devices-Regulatory FDA QSR
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• English full professional level, German intermediate level

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 1-year contract with possibility of extension
