Modern Workplace Engineer - IT Support Engineer 3rd level

Experis IT is on the search for an IT Support Engineer (Level 3) to join one of their clients, a well-known international IT Consultancy company. Key Responsibilities:

  • The 3rd Level IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing advanced technical support to resolve complex IT issues. This role requires a deep understanding of ITIL practices and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve high-level technical problems efficiently.
  • Provide advanced technical support for complex IT issues escalated from 2nd level support.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Manage and resolve incidents and service requests in accordance with ITIL best practices.
  • Perform root cause analysis for recurring incidents and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of incidents, solutions, and processes.
  • Participate in the development and improvement of IT support procedures and policies.
  • Train and mentor 1st and 2nd level support staff.
  • Stay updated with the latest IT technologies and trends.

Your Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support, with at least 2 years in a 3rd level support role.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL practices and processes; ITIL certification is preferred.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Windows and Linux operating systems, networking, and server management.
  • Experience with IT service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are a plus.
  • German native is a must
